COVID-19 saliva test is encouraged before visiting for safety of the patients. Visitors must update COVID-19 status in MySejahtera. Only visitors, who are classified as Low Risk and No Symptom, can enter the ward.

The University of Malaya Specialist Centre has a fully facilitated 100 inpatient beds and eight dedicated operating theatres catering to major medical procedures or chronic conditions. The inpatient wards are operating 24 hours/ 7 days. Following are the admission details to take note of for patients:
Documents To Bring
- Valid Guarantee Letter (GL) from approved company (if any / cover by company).
- NRIC/ My KID or Birth Certificate for Malaysian Citizens under the age of 12.
- Passports for all foreigners.
Deposit
- A deposit is required by the patient upon admission except for patients with a guarantee letter (GL), from the company approved by the management.
- The deposit can be made by cash, debit/credit cards, bank draft or online transfer.
Patients intending to seek consultation from the hospital’s enlisted specialist doctor may request an appointment on their website. Below are the steps to follow:

Fill in your personal details, eg: patient’s name, email, age, gender, phone number, reason of appointment.
STEP 5
Submit your details. Once they receive your details of appointment, they will call you for telephonic verification and name will be registered accordingly. They request to give valid email and phone number while taking appointment.

- Original MyKad for Malaysian and original passport for non-Malaysian
- If you are registering your child (below 12 years old), MyKid or birth certificate is required.
- A valid medical insurance card if applicable.
- Referral letter and relevant medical reports, if any.

It recognizes and accepts letters of guarantee from insurance companies that have established lines of credit with the hospital. Please present your letter of guarantee upon registration/admission; if not, a deposit will be required.

2.How to enjoy the free shuttle bus service?
University of Malaya Specialist Centre doesn’t provide free shuttle bus service. Patients need to reach the Specialist Centre via public or private transportation.
