Patients must be fully vaccinated to gain access to the Raffles Hospital, as instructed by the vaccination-differentiated safe management measures (VDS) of Singapore. Patients who are medically ineligible for vaccination would also be allowed to visit the hospital. However, unvaccinated patients are not allowed to visit Raffles Hospital.
All patients and visitors to the Raffle Hospital’s inpatient area, regardless of vaccination status, will need to have an ART test (and a Negative result) within 24 hours before visiting. The test must be supervised by a provider approved by the Singapore Ministry of Health. All tests are to be self-funded by the visitor.
Acceptable forms of ART results include:
- Results shown in HealthHub or TraceTogether
- SMS from MOH indicating ART was done
- Print out ART results from the performing clinic
Anyone entering Raffles Hospital must complete a Health Declaration Form and SafeEntry check-in at the entrance of Raffles Specialist Centre.
Raffles Hospital provides 24-hour emergency services and ambulance services. Patients may call the emergency hotline 63111555 to hire an ambulance.

- All patients need to register at the accident and emergency department upon arrival and would need to declare their drug allergies, if any.
- A nurse will then assess the patient to prioritise the case’s urgency.
- For an emergency case, an emergency doctor will assess the patient’s condition, and the patient may need to undergo tests such as blood tests.
- Patients who have to be warded will then discuss with the hospital about the ward preferences.
Outpatient services include health screening, family medicine, X-ray, ultrasound, mammogram, audiometry, spirometry, tonometry, treadmill, travel medicine, minor surgery, lab test packages and pre-departure COVID-19 swab test.
The Hospital opens from Monday to Sunday (including public holidays) from 8am to 10pm.
