    Covid test requirement for patients

To facilitate effective digital contact tracing, all patients must check-in using the TraceTogether token or app and complete the health declaration form at: https://www.ktph.com.sg/screening.

Registration will only be opened 30 minutes before your appointment, and only one visitor/companion per patient (including caregiver) is allowed in clinical areas at any one time.

As a precautionary measure, you will not be allowed entry if you are having fever, breathlessness, body ache, headache, cough, chills, fatigue, sore throat or runny nose.

If you are issued a Health Risk Notice (HRN) by MOH, you will only be allowed entry if you can produce photo evidence of an ART negative result obtained within the last 24 hours.

    Covid test requirement for visitors

In line with the latest MOH COVID-19 safety measures for hospitals to reduce potential transmission, they will not be accepting ward visitors until 3 April 2022 (date inclusive). Exceptions may be granted for patients who are critically ill or require additional caregiver support.

Visitors who are allowed to visit on exceptional basis will need to produce a valid negative antigen rapid test (ART) result obtained within the last 24 hours of the visit. All tests are to be self-funded. This is a mandatory requirement for all visitors regardless of vaccination status, except for persons who have recovered from COVID-19 and are able to present a valid Pre-Event Test (PET) exemption notice.

Fully vaccinated or medically ineligible visitors can perform self-administered ART or opt for ART administered by MOH-approved COVID-19 test providers (including tests performed at Quick Test Centres) for purpose of fulfilling the pre-visit testing requirement. Fully vaccinated or medically ineligible visitors who opt to undergo self-administered ART will be required to show evidence of a valid ART result, e.g. present a time-stamped photo of the dated ART result and photo ID for verification prior to entry.

Non-fully vaccinated visitors would be required to show results of ART administered or supervised by MOH-approved COVID-19 test providers (including Quick Test Centres). Results from unsupervised self-administered ART will not be accepted for this group of visitors.

As part of their COVID-19 measures, ward visitors are required to register on-site at the hospital, complete a health and travel declaration form and use TraceTogether App or token for SafeEntry check-in.

Registration for hospital admission can be done at the A&E, in the ward, or at the Patient Service Centre (for elective admission). Financial counselling will be provided to inform you of your estimated bill size.
